Left side of heart:

1   Without turning work, attach yarn with sl st to ch at center of shell in the middle of the heart, ch 3, (shell in next shell) twice, V st in next V st, dc in top of turning ch.

2   Ch 3, turn, dc in V st, (shell I next shell) twice, c in top of turning ch.

Pillow form:  Place one heart on the lining fabric and draw an outline of the heart1” larger than the heart.  Cut two pieces of fabric on the line.  Sew the lining pieces together with a ½” seam allowance, leaving a 5” opening on one side for stuffing.

Trim the seam allowance to within ¼” of stitches, turn inside out and stuff with fiber fill.  Sew up opening.

Joining:  Place similar sides of hearts together, join yarn with sl st thru both pieces about 6” from bottom point, ch 1, sc into the same place, *ch 2, sc into base of 3 dc* all around, matching rows.  When a 6” opening remains, insert pillow form and continue to join.

Edging:  Sl st into ch-2 space, ch 4, 2 dc in same space, *1 trc in next ch-2 space, 2 dc in same space*.
Repeat between * all around.  Join with sl st in first space.

Fasten off.
